Amber Hilberling was murdered by an inmate named Patricia Rucker “T-Rucker”. Hours before Amber was found hanging in her cell, Rucker (who is doing a life sentence) told Amber to go kill herself. Rucker was housed in a separate block than Amber and was not allowed in her pod, however the guards allowed it anyways.
