Therefore there are no cables or adjustable linkage to allow adjustment,If it cranks nicely, the problem is at the relay or upstream, likely the start button on the right handlebar. If it does not crank and only rattles, the problem seems downstream, possibly the starter motor itself or its connector. Please let us know what you find. Curious about the root cause.
