Although very uncommon, both bulbs can pop at the same time. Then I'd check connections, grounds and anything that might be interupting the powerflow of the circut.

In this position the DRL's are on and with the doors closed and the ignition off. This is a rotary switch and in general have self cleaning contacts.

Oleg_S. Most likely it happen because of Traction Control Unit temporarily lost signal or got incorrect signal from one of wheel sensors. You can check wire harness and connectors for wheel speed sensors, then check sensors itself for any damages.
