Nov 23, 2023 · Due to the current promotions on Steam, I was planning to buy The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki. I noticed that there are two versions on steam, which really confused me. In previous discussions, it was discussed that the Trails through Daybreak version will receive the original English patch. But the description on the publisher's website confused me.
So I got some news. Some dude in the Falcom 4chan thread used DeepL (MTL) to translate the entire game from Korean to English today. From what I’ve read in there, they’re expecting some anons to do a edit of the script after awhile so the quality is better and more coherant. I played Hajimari and Kuro No Kiseki with patches, but even the very simple instructions were a challenge for me (though I was ultimately successful). Meaning. I downloaded the K2 patch listed above, then I pasted everything into the K2 game, but it didn't effect it at all. Hope they make one for "Kuro No Kiseki" too that releases next month on Steam. The overlay translation is done for that one so it should be possible. Today is the release of the Japanese version of Kuro no Kiseki, and it is the first port to use a lot of new infrastructure we at PH3 built up over the past year or so. That infrastructure includes things like asset compression and platform handling, mundane features like logging and crash reporting, and dealing with game settings.

sheehs took me a while to get the patch but tks this save me a couple years of waiting even tho I wanna play it in english dub. Yeah, normally i would not mind waiting but not like 3 years. The game is not even announced yet in English and the second one is already out shortly. This is nobodys fault but NISA´s.
Kuro no Kiseki released on Steam about a month ago and a English patch for the game using Zerofield's translation was available Day One, I believe due to the sheer luck of the PC and PS4 versions sharing similar file and folder structures. A 3rd party has been working on injecting the translation into a hacked PS4 for months prior to release.
