The Tikka is a better smoother action, but the RPR is just "easy". For the $500 difference I'd get the A1. If you can find a 6.5 RPR for $999, I'd go that route. Tika is an excellent platform which has been based on the sako which is replicated by many; including nosler 48, howa m1500, s&w 1500, weatherby vanguard along with several others. I find these actions easily bedded with a simple butt drop.
