I have found the cause of the problem at the inside end of the power push button. On the very end is an electrically conductive, black rubber ring (high tech material) which makes contact with four tiny contacts within the radio itself, thus turning the radio on.Proceed to the FM audio screen and confirm the current navigation software version by pressing the MENU and SEEK UP (1) buttons simultaneously. I already unplugged the fuse and plugged back in for no help. Has anyone seen this issue? if so, what did you do to fix it? the dealer wants $100 jus to look at it. MartinAlvarez

There are 2 intermittent problems on my new 2011 Silverado 1500 LT radio system: when I listen to people on radio, I hear scratches and the voice is sometimes distorted. My GM Chevrolet Dealer says this is normal as he hears the same on a similar new truck in his lot.
