Just wanted to share my cheap alien plant - $3 worth of pool noodles and a heat gun (on low temp outside). We'll be stacking these 2-high as part of our "alien planet" themed display this year. My goal is to have my entire front yard overtaken by alien plants and just weird looking stuff in general.
