Normal mode 1-2 for best backpacks per world energy. Normal mode 9-8 for best xp per world energy. Normal mode 15-9 for best recruits, but my first listing is similar. I do not recommend hard mode for Atlantis Rises. They boosted it up enough that normal mode is a lot more worth it because it saves more world energy.
I have found for “Farming” red monsters that the quickest is 5-6. It only uses 3 world power and in under an hour I completed 150/150 for the red chest. I have 28/28 power and in a little over 20 minutes I was able to attack level 5-6 10 times. Using them actually halves your overall progression. Just use normal trainings, feed heroes 1 at a time (not with 10), and be happy.
