Hey, most of the time I would agree with you. With cvt fluid it is very specific to the model of car. Even a little transmission fluid contamination can cause serious degradation in the cvt fluid. The difference in a $100 for the correct fluid for me is worth it. Some shops also flush the transmissions. With cvts you aren’t supposed too.The 2013-2014 Accord CVT does not have a transmission dipstick. On top of your CVT transmission is only a fill cap\plug (to add CVT fluid).
