I can go in and manually open in from the back panel inside, but this is not ideal obviously. When I press the button there is nothing. Since this is the manual tailgate the only way to open is from the button on the outside.The tailgate on my 2009 Pilot won't open when I press the rear switch. Open the hatch, get into the car and put the car in accessories mode or start the engine.
