I use TradeStation as my primary broker after switching from Fidelity. No broker can match the execution speed and quality of Fidelity (all of them accept PFOF, including TradeStation). The desktop app is quick and there's no delay on the data or charts, but I use it integrated with TradingView primarily. Option approval is straightforward.
Others allow short positions only via CFDs on a handful of popular individual stocks. Advanced traders prefer brokers that allow the short selling of real stocks (and not just CFDs) on most stock markets their clients have access to. Executions were average. You have to pay for real-time data with TV and TradeStation, so you are paying for real time data twice. The data in the charts comes from TV, and the data in the DOM comes from TradeStation. Ultimately, TradeStation is the decider on the executions. It’s good for Swing and Long, but Scalping is so-so.
