With the limited data on N110, I did a quick test to see where the limits of the charge would be using Hoosier 220gr lead powder coated bullets and Noslers 175 Custom Comps. I shot 6 loads of each.

Hodgdon's reloading site shows 1680 fps for a 13.4 grain starting load with Lil' Gun (this is for a 180 gr. bullet). So, I will probably load a few at 10.0 grains and a few at 11.0 and see how they shoot. For the 220 gr. round, it says 8.4 grains is max @ 1062 fps. Most factory .300 Blackout subsonic loads are a little more powerful than a routine .45 ACP handgun loading, if we’re going on (the admittedly incomplete) calculated energy figures. So, if you think .45 ACP is a reliable choice for a defensive round, subsonic Blackout beats it. (Clearly, supersonic Blackout beats it soundly.)
