Fountain View rooms would be in the wings that face the strip, but they would be in positions on the floor where you'd get the most unobstructed view of the fountains. Pool view are also in the wings that face the strip, on lower floors.
Re: Grocery / Convenience Stores near Paris Hotel. ABC Store costs - Slightly more than your average Walgreens or hometown liquor store, but way less than a casino gift shop or anything else you will find within walking distance. These stores are great. FYI - The Miracle Mile Mall has 2 ABC stores.
I had a room on the 20th floor this last time that was great (can't remember exact # though). Be aware that many fountain views also come with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the pool....and the tower may block a bit of the fountains. Still very cool though! Paris is a great hotel...enjoy!
