I had to buy it online and do an FFL transfer because I couldn't find the elite locally (so I could not test the trigger). I have never fired it. I am right handed. I brought it home and began testing the trigger with my RIGHT hand. Under recoil many times the shooters thumb will momentarily hit the slide stop which will cause a malfunction like this.
