I hated the engage grip on my V3, but the Lift 33 doesn't feel like it wants to torque as easy, even with the engage grip.2011 Mathews Z7 extreme with case, release, arrows and broad heads for $550 Or New Hoyt Torrex package deal for ~$800. A lot of times I struggle to make tight groups, but my friend brought down his Bowtech Destroyer 350, with a 6 inch brace height and noticed absolutely no difference. In fact, I actually shot better groups at 20 yards with his bow than I do my own.It wasn't as smooth as the 35 either but then again they aren't exactly the same "kind" of bow. The biggest flaw on the Hoyt is the price. I understand it's carbon and $1100 for the option 6 isn't exactly cheap either but $1600 is a big jump. That would take a fully outfitted bow well over 2k.While this isn't a big factor I like the looks of the Hoyt bows better than Mathews. I get a clean pass-through everytime. I found it used at a dealer and got a really good deal at $500 with brand new limbs. Hoyt, Mathews, and Bowtech all make quality product, so find a good deal on Craigslist and go.
