This one in particular belongs to Ahkari, the Khajiit caravan merchant that travels between Riften and Dawnstar. Her Merchant Chest is infamously poorly hidden and can be accessed, thus effectively stealing her wares without technically stealing it. The Unofficial Patch adjusts the chestâs location to be properly hidden. Go to the entrance of Dawnstar (where you start when you fast travel to Dawnstar) and wait 48 hours. Talk to the traveling Khajiit merchant. The chest should reset. If the merchant isn't there, just wait 2 hours at a time until the tent/camp shows up. Once that happens, the npcs will spawn a few seconds afterward. The invisible chest in dawnstar is the shop chest for the Khajiit Caravan. You can reset the contents of the chest by waiting for a caravan to come into Dawnstar. If possible, I don't wanna go to Dawnstar everytime to loot stuff, because I will have to go by horse again, to go back to Whiterun. I thought I can use the chest outside Solitude, but turns out it wasn't connected to the caravan next to it. So I can't reset it at all. My main house is in Riften.
