Hiked 5/26. Beautiful springtime hike!! Parked at Donner Summit Rest area off 80 going into Truckee. Would highly recommend both downloading the offline map before starting, and doing the PCT portion going south first since the trail is much easier to follow, and then you can stop for lunch/snacks on the way back up at the lakes on the other trail.I-80 has reopened in both directions over Donner Pass. In the valleys, many flights are either canceled or delayed in and out of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Most of the affected flights are Southwest and United.
