I would highly recommend - as someone who is both a dasher and who worked at a gas station for 5 years - not using the Dasher Direct card at the pump, even if it lets you. Gas stations - generally at the request of the issuing cards bank - will regularly put holds on cards used at pumps for an amount between 75-100 dollars at a time.

I signed up for it when it first launched and I haven't had any issues except I can no longer change my fast pay back to my bank account its locked to the dasher direct card.. dd can't change it and dasher direct won't close my account.. it's a disaster, stay away from it!!
