Jan 19, 2020 · The conversion/update works perfectly and the changeout was simple: loosen the set screw in the old wad guide bracket, loosen the locking screw at the yoke on the bottom, remove the two circlips in the middle of the rod. Tilt the powder and shot bottles and remove the drop tubes. I am unable to get sufficient sizing action on the #1 (reconditioning) station of my MEC 600 Jr. with the automatic primer feeder installed. The primer feed assembly raises the nut that positions the eject bolt, creating a dilemma. In adjusting the crimp on my 600 Jr., I am now getting good crimps on the final crimp stage, but now I'm getting what looks like a crimp in the shell about 1/3 up from the brass. It's almost as if the final crimp mechanism is coming down at an angle instead of straight down.MEC 600 frustration- need help. Ok I have a 12G MEC 600 Jr Mark V reloader that has given me no trouble. Decided to get a 410 version, opted for the whole thing so I wouldn't have to be swapping parts around. Found a pretty good price that wasn't but about $40 more than just the conversion kit.
