I charged both batteries and the D80 came to life. The D300 will not power on. No green light indicator when the battery is placed inside, nothing. I read some of the suggestions on the forum and followed those. After leaving the battery in for 72 hours the display started to slowly come to life.

3. Dec 15, 2021. #1. I am undecided on a new Z 24-70 f4 or a new Z 24-120 lens to use with a new Nikon mirrorless Z camera. I think I would use the extra "reach", but based on prior posts and test results for the dismal Nikon 24-120 f3.5-5.6 and the 24-120 f4, I think a new Nikon Z 24-120 is a real challenge for Nikon with its 5:1 zoom ratio.

After debating over the Nikon 70-200 f/4 and 70-300 AF-P (FX) I decided to get the Tamron for the f/2.8 aperture and to save a little over the Nikon f/4. The Tamron is a great lens, on par with, or just slightly behind Nikon’s 70-200 FL, depending on the reviewer.

I shot many seasons of cross country with an old AF-S 80-200/2.8 IF-ED that required -17 to -19 of AF fine tune on both my D750 and D500. I found it to be quite slow when changing things like exposure/brightness etc. I have an older 4k Acer laptop with and I7 and 16gb Ram. But overall it is a nice experience has a good feature set, similar to Lightroom, can even edit Videos and do slideshows.
