For destroying the orphix, bastion mode is 100% the way to go (there are 2 main bastion build strategies, max damage or max rate of fire, I went with max damage for the longest time which was a mistake, rate of fire is better.) This just happened to me. 14 dead orphix and I got screwed. The game wouldn't let me back into my warframe so I had to book it over 600 m with my operator. Myself and another person got screwed cause neither of us could make it in time.

I'm currently running experiments to figure out if I can force the better rotation by leaving an Orphix alive temporarily so that the spawn rotation gets offset.
