TOTK v1.1 Mainline 1428 - Steam Deck. Performance is hovering between 20-30fps, boots without launch mod, just played up through 1st shrine and I've had zero graphical artifacts, pretty much perfect graphically so far. All yuzu settings are stock, using vulkan, normal gpu accuracy. It's performing about the same as BOTW. In Steam Deck desktop mode, use the default Discover app to search for and install Warpinator. This tool will communicate with Winpinator to transfer files. Launch Winpinator on your PC and Warpinator on your Steam Deck. If you're on the same network, you should see the respective devices show up.
The biggest problem people are going to have is that when TotK comes out it will be Switch exclusive. Yep, exactly. They are not transferable. Steam Deck cache works with the Steam Deck only. Shader Cache are GPU and driver versions dependant. I recommend build your own shaders.Double check your mods. The game is coded to drop to 20fps if it can't reach 30. It does this on the Switch hardware as well. Grab performance and dynamic fps mods (I haven't played in months so the names might have changed since). In particular TotK runs on outdated hardware without some sort of DLSS frame gen technology. What’s seriously going to affect TotK is the frames being below 30 fps and the resolution feeling like a 480p at best. The most common cause of poor framerates in Yuzu on Deck is not using Vulkan. You can fix that by going into Yuzu and clicking where it says OpenGL at the bottom. It should change to say Vulkan.
