Springfield Prodigy has a 4.25-inch barrel, while Staccato XC has a 5.0-inch barrel. Prodigy is slightly heavier in weight compared to the Staccato XC. IMO (having owned a P DUO and picked up a Prodigy this morning) the Staccato has better build quality. The frame and slide finish is superior, the slide to rail fitment is slightly better (slide racks more smoothly on the Staccato) and the Staccato trigger is slightly crisper and lighter.
