Pick a favorable map seed, you dont need to spawn enemies and you can turn up all resource values. You want a science ratio somewhere around 30-45 packs per minute, except red and green, get somewhere between 60 and 90 per minute of those. Purple and yellow science are incredibly expensive. This is not recommended for normal play, since it hides bottlenecks. Mining by hand is twice as fast, and later one can build the auxilliary stuff (power, smelting, refinery), the other one the science part.
