This method in the YouTube video below worked for me before I completed everything in the Nexus mods tutorial above.I think I will just keep fallout 4 in 16:9 aspect ratio and just play with borderless window. Yes I get two vertical black bars, but atleast I can improve the resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440. Also an big problem with the Truby9 mod is that it causes problems with other mods that mod or add HUD as well.Also, for those 21:9 users who aren't already aware, make sure to check out the excellent TRUBY9 ULTRAWIDE fix by Zalias who did what Bethesda were apparently incapable of doing.
