Franchise Staff Points are the Madden 23 equivalent of experience points in other games, letting you unlock talents to upgrade your head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and draft personnel. Acquiring these points can be important for everything from keeping your players healthy and boosting blocking power to getting more training XP and increasing play-reading ability. Fire their OC and then switch back to your team to hire the OC. The CPU will auto generate a new OC. Online will be a bit more tricky. You need to have a second user join the franchise and fire the OC (cannot be someone who will be managing a team as they will have the same problem.). You can then hire that OC and let the CPU generate a new one.

In that time, 5 trades of top players (including a 91 Elu/87 Pow/79 Rec 3rd yr RB w/ 2 years left on contract) was completed by the computer. 2 90+ OL. Also released an 85 CB. 4 starting players all gone, got a few 2nd and 4th rd picks. I'm so livid. Basically you need to FIRE your OC the week of the SB... then go to FILL spots on menu to [re]hire the OC (before advancing).
