My number was ported in less than 5 minutes after the phone conversation with the mint rep to activate and port. I was using 2 different phones. My lg g5 to talk to the rep with my old cricket sim card, and my Nexus 5 with the mint sim card. I then transferred the mint sim card to the lg g5 since that is my "daily driver" phone.If the phone is still locked, it will not be able to be used on other services.
