The Iron Horse property is currently listed for sale at a price of $550,000. The Iron Horse was originally named Joe's Thirsty Lizard before the Bar Rescue makeover and here is the original update for the bar (the one with the guy showering in the kitchen). Feb 22, 2023 · As of 2023, BR Steak is still open and serving customers in Country Club Hills, IL. It still uses the BR Steak name that Jon Taffer gave it, though it also calls itself BR Bar on some social platforms. It seems that BR Steak refers specifically to the restaurant portion of the business, while BR Bar obviously refers to the bar and nightlife part. Bar Rescue: S5E16 Struck Out at the Dugout A lackluster landlord falls into the sports bar business when a previous tenant refuses to pay rent on a World Series winning Chicago Cub's hangout. Halo Nightclub / LIV Bar closed in May 2019. They closed just days after the episode aired. It is rumoured that it was sold to new owners within weeks of the initial makeover in February 2018. There are few reviews prior to closure but most are positive with the new food and drinks being a hit with customers.Now that we’ve recapped the Arena Bar Rescue episode and visit, let’s talk about what happened after Jon Taffer and his crew left Ann Arbor, MI. Things started off well… In the six weeks after the Bar Rescue episode, The Arena grossed $220,000 in sales, which ain’t too shabby. Mike seemed to have turned over a new leaf.

Steve Magna bought the 60-year-old bar in 2008, which means he’s owned it for almost a decade at the time of the Casual Tap Bar Rescue visit. He was also a fireman, and due to that, the bar was successful when it first opened. The bar has irregular hours due to Steve’s stress from firefighting.
