Good Morning, The XMacro does not come in a comp version under the LE/MIL program of SIG's. This is due to "Comps" are not Duty Approved. As far as getting the slide, you will also have to get a 3.1 P365 barrel to put in it. The xmacro tac ops or comp is arguably the best carry gun out there. Balance between size, shootability and capacity. How thin it is makes such a big difference to me when carrying compared to similar length/height guns. XMacro is 17rounds out of box, XCompact is 15 rounds out of box. XCompact can run a bigger optic if that matters. I'd get the xmacro unless you shoot the xcompact better. X Macro is thinner with 17rd magazines. XCompact has 15rd magazines, but takes larger capacity ones up to the 33rd mags. I think the width makes the P320 an easier platform to shoot and the AXG module (in my carry size) a real joy. In my opinion the P320 X-Compact is the perfect size for carry and shootability. But when I need real concealment the P365X gets the nod. But still working on the P365 X-Macro Tac-Ops. Capacity is an interesting that keeps me coming back.
Manual Safety is absolutely required for me. The lack stops the glock 19x from being a perfect weapon. I will go with the 365x over the 365x macro because of the manual safety issue. Those who go without a thumb safety are, in my opinion, making a critical mistake that may very well cost them dearly some day. Reply reply.
