Xeno vs keymo.
I’ll play the other side. I have 3 YHM cans. Started off using their stuff. Ended up wanting to try Keymo bc I hated the muzzle devices. I bought 1 flash hider and Keymo adapter to start. To me, the QD system by dead air is better. Smoother ratcheting and definitely looks better. I don’t think it can be beat in terms of a true QD system.

Keymo is a taper system, so it's similar in function to all the other tapers (Plan A/B, TBAC, etc) that are known to be repeatable and solid in general. I'm a huge fan of Keymo and haven't had any issues with return to zero, group size, etc (Sandman-K and a keymo converted AAC M4-1000). Between the two choices, Xeno all day. But I'm sure the Plan A and Plan B fan bois will be by soon to promote their favorites, even though your not asking about them. And yes I own both the xeno and Keymo systems. I like Xeno on short barrel semi auto applications and Keymo on semi auto longer barrels. I use direct thread on bolt guns.The Polonium has industry standard universal "HUB" 1.375×24 rear threads, so you can choose whatever adapter you want that works with your host and muzzle device. KeyMo, ASR, YHM, etc. can all work with HUB. Personally, I like ASR and the locking collar thingy. Understand the rules. Check the sidebar.The Dead Air Xeno shares similar design features to the Q Cherry Bomb. If done correctly, that means the thread before the taper will adequately secure the muzzle device to the silencer, while also preventing any fouling from reaching the threads and carbon locking the silencer to the muzzle. 3. Expecting to take my first can ( Nomad ) home this spring and I'm starting to consider mounting options. I'm leaning towards pin & welding DA Xeno flash hider to a 14.5 AR. Cherry bomb vs keymo . I'm looking at the nomad or jumbo shrimp as a first suppressor for my Creedmoor and 556. My question is without the suppressor attached does the cherry bomb offer any benefits of compensation or recoil reduction vs say a keymo muzzle brake? Probably old news, but the Xeno system is superior. I just switched my YHM Turbo K from Plan B/Cherry Bomb to Xeno Brake and Adaptor. Everything about it makes more sense than the PB/CB. Yeah, it weighs a tiny bit more and is a tiny bit longer, but it's worth it. Video for fun.
